Privacy policy

Zhi Hua Tan operates Pace.Yours, an iPhone task planner and focus timer formerly known as Focus.me. This policy describes the rebuilt Pace.Yours app, version 2.0 without advertising, and this support website. The older Focus.me version may have different features.
Tasks and focus sessions
Task titles, notes, subtasks, deadlines, estimates, completion status, and focus-session times are stored on your device. The app does not send this content to us. It has no account sign-in or developer-operated cloud synchronization.
Your device’s backup settings may include app data in Apple backups. You can delete tasks in the app. Removing the app normally removes its local data; copies in backups are governed by your Apple backup settings.
Reminders and audio
If you enable a reminder, the app requests notification permission and schedules it locally using Apple’s notification service. You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings. Background sounds play locally, including bundled rain audio and generated ambient sounds; the app does not record your microphone.
No advertising or analytics in this release
Pace.Yours version 2.0 does not include Google AdMob, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking. The app does not collect or transmit task information to the developer. If a future update introduces advertising, we will update this policy and the app’s privacy disclosures before that release.
Support messages and this website
If you contact us through Facebook, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your message and profile information visible to us. We use it to respond and investigate issues. Facebook processes that interaction under Meta’s Privacy Policy.
This website has no contact form, advertising, or site analytics added by us. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the site. Following a link to Facebook or Apple takes you to a service governed by its own privacy policy.
Retention, transfers, and security
Local task data remains until you remove it or the app’s local storage. Support correspondence may remain in Facebook messaging history as needed to respond to requests and resolve issues. Meta, Apple, and the hosting provider apply their own retention practices and may process information in countries other than yours.
We limit the information requested for support and do not operate a server collecting your tasks. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive task content through support messages.
Children
Pace.Yours is a general-purpose productivity app and is not specifically designed for children. Please contact us if you believe a child has shared personal information with us through support so that we can address the request.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. For information processed independently by Meta, their policies explain the available controls and request channels.
Changes to this policy
We will publish updates on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
